Physical and chemical properties: In room temperature under atmospheric pressure, it is a kind of colorless transparent, volatile liquid, with ether smell and sweet; Melting point - 96.7 ℃, Boiling point 40℃, Methylene chloride has no flash point, density is 1.336 g/cm ³ (20℃); Slight soluble in water, but soluble in ethanol, ethyl ether.
Uses: Used as coating solvent, metal degreasing, aerosol propellant, polyurethane foaming agent and manufacturing safety film and polycarbonate, it is a good solvent.
Packing, Storage and transportation: kept in sealed Galvanized steel drum and tank car, stored in dry and ventilating place, avoid sunlight and rain.
